My Whole Life

I was born to reflect the image of a God who is powerful enough to create my universe, attentive enough to hear my prayers and loving enough to be defined by self-sacrifice. I find my greatest fulfillment on a journey toward purpose and wholeness.

Our Beliefs

Seventh-day Adventist beliefs are meant to permeate your whole life. Growing out of scriptures that paint a compelling portrait of God, you are invited to explore, experience and know the One who desires to make us whole.

"Often He was asked, Why are you bent on being so singular, so different from us all? It is written, He said, "Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord. Blessed are they that keep His testimonies, and that seek Him with the whole heart. They also do no iniquity; they walk in His ways." Ps. 119:1-3."

Sorry. They ask, “why are you bent on being so singular”? The answer Jesus gives tells me that He is the one who thinks He is the one who is walking the straight path. That means that Jesus is turning the question back on his questioners. Why is it that you are bent on being so singular?

I can remember when there were four types of home computer. There was the BBC series favoured by a Pastor friend in north Wales. The arch rivals were the IBM PC’s and the early Apple computers. European Adventists chose the Atari 1040. The Adventists were the different ones.

There are people who would look at our way of doing things and say, “why are you bent on being so singular”? Us? Singular? Don’t worry what other people say about you. We’re the ones who are trying to walk God’s path. Many others are trying to take shortcuts.
