Women's Ministries at Upper Room
The women of Upper Room Seventh-day Adventist Church are making a positive impact in the lives of people in their local community.
A lady they have befriended was living in a refugee hostel. As a Christian she wanted to sing but she had no hymn book.
What else can you do but lend a hymn book. So it was that the Pastor of the church she was attending also wanted a hymn book for her church .. and so the tale continues.
Our church is actually quite young, although the denomination is now well-developed and has a real world-wide influence. Despite our youth people have decided that they like what they see so much that they have chosen to become Christians. If you want to see a little of what baptism means, take a look at a short video our Pastor has made HERE
The Women’s Ministry department of the Upper Room church are eager to help people in need.
The ladies meet at our rented hall, All Souls Community Centre, fortnightly on Saturday afternoons from 2:00-3:00pm and often at homes in the area for fellowship, worship and … lots of talking.
